Perfect Roasted Chicken

Today we were on a field trip all day, so for an easy dinner I took a chicken out of the freezer and put it in the oven to cook while we were gone.

If you start early enough, I started mine around 6:30am, then the steps in making a perfect roast chicken are as easy as 1-2-3.

1.  Put the chicken in a roasting pan that has a matching cover.
2.  Season the chicken with your choice of seasoning.

Seasoned with home dried tarragon, salt, & pepper

3.  Cover and roast at 200 degrees Fahrenheit until dinner time.

Here is the finished chicken.  It tastes best is you take the meat off the bone just before serving and soak the meat in the juices at the bottom of the roasting pan.  Yum.
