"Fudgy" Yogurt Brownies

Yes, these brownies have the taste of fudge but they have a lot less sugar than your typical brownie recipe.  And, this recipe also works well with whole wheat pastry flour!

Here is the recipe:

Mix together the following ingredients (no particular order is necessary):
  • 3/4 cup SUCANAT
  • 3/4 cup date sugar
  • 3/4 cup yogurt
  • 1 cup organic cocoa powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup soft whole wheat flour (pastry flour)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Spread into a greased 9 x 13 pan and bake at 350 degrees Farientheit for 20 minutes.

Remove (it looks like it is uncooked on the outside, but the inside will be done).

Serve with fresh whipped cream that has been sweetened with honey.
